PGE Public Safety Power Shutoff Event

Due to weather conditions in the Central and Northern California areas, PG&E has issued a Public Safety Power Shutoff event that will take place on 10/9/19 starting at 4 am. An estimated 800,000 people could be effected by this power outage, according to KCRA 3. The date and/or time of power restoration has not yet been announced. PG&E's website explains that the outage can last from a few hours to several days. El Dorado County will be effected along with Alameda, Alpine, Amador, Butte, Mariposa, Placer, Yuba, Yolo, and more.
